Cockpit: • The cockpit floor is cored with local reinforcement. • An athwartships hatch for access into the engine. The power operated hatch operated without fault TANKS: Fuel: Total capacity: 400 US gallons. No. of tanks: 1 x 400 gals. Location: Beneath the aft cockpit floor. Construction: Aluminium. Filling, venting monitoring: Fuel level gauges are located at the helm station in the console display. Fuel tank vent is aft below the fuel fill in the hull topsides. Fuel filling station is on the side deck. Fuel fill hose is approved USCG B1 grade and doubled clamped. Fuel system: Fuel fill and fuel line connection clamps to engines and generator are approved USCG grade A1. The main engines are supplied via individual ‘Cpar’ water/fuel separators. Manually operated valves are on top of the tanks. Fresh Water Tanks & System: Total capacity: 94 US gallons. No. of tanks: 2 x 47 gals Tank construction: Polyethylene, located port and starboard outboard of the engine room. Filling, venting & monitoring: A water level gauge is located aft in the cabin. Water fill stations are port and starboard on the cockpit side decks. Venting is below the decks in the hull topsides. Fresh water system: A ‘Jabsco’ Par Max 12-volt DC freshwater pressure pump and accumulator. An ‘Attwood’ 120volt AC 6gal hot water boiler is located forward on the starboard side of the engine room. The pump and boiler were test operated without faults. Plumbing piping and faucets: Red and blue press fit plastic non-toxic, well run and supported. Grey Water System: Type: Gravity drains from the shower and the air -conditioning condensate into an ‘Attwood’ plastic collection box beneath the floor in the cabin bilge under the companion way steps. The pump out system has a ‘Rule’ submersible 12volt DC pump and automatic float switch. The system was test operated without faults. Holding Tank & System: No of tanks: 1 Construction: Plastic/Nylon Capacity: 30 US gallons Location: Center bilge in the engine room. Venting: Vents through the hull topsides. Head type: ‘Sealand’ 12-volt electric vacuum flush system, test operated without faults. Number of Heads: (1) The vacuum tank is located port side in the engine room above the engine and operated without faults. Discharge: A 12 -volt ‘Pentair’ macerator pump discharges the holding tank directly over board from a 3-way valve. (Closed, overboard or to waste tank) The pump was test operated from a switch on the main switch board (MSB) without faults. Bilge Arrangement & pumps: The yacht has (3) bilge compartments, all protected by ‘Rule’ 12-volt DC submersible pumps with automatic float switches. Locations: Aft of the engine room on centreline. Forward of the engine room behind the bulkhead and beneath the companionway stairs. All pumps were test operated from their automatic float switches and from the helm console manual switches. Bilge alarms: An audible high bilge water level alarm installed aft in the engine room was test operated. MAIN ENGINES & EXHAUSTS: Engine manufacturer: Yanmar Hours: Port: 248 Starboard: 250 Model: Both engines are 6LY3-ETP Serial Nos: Port M60820 and M60827 starboard Power: Both engines are rated at 480HP@ 3800 rpm The engines are 4-point resilient mounted forward and aft and connected directly to the gear boxes. Main Engine Exhausts: 5” reinforced rubber hoses connected to the water-cooled engine turbo elbows run aft and exit port and starboard in the transom. The system was seen without any signs of deterioration, restrictions or leaks. Engine cooling system: Bronze Sea strainers with baskets connected to through hull valves, supply the raw water through 2” reinforced rubber hoses that were seen without any signs of deterioration, restrictions or leaks. Main Engine Controls: Yanmar electronic throttle, twin lever combined throttle and shift units located at both of the helm stations that were seen operating without faults. Engine appearance and operation: The engines were seen in a maintained condition. They started easily, idled smoothly without interruption and at maximum revolutions both were without faults. See Sea Trial. GEAR BOXES: Manufacturer: ZF Hurth Marine Type: Direct drive model: 85A -2.5 Serial numbers: Port:29015R Starboard:29017R Gear shift: Yanmarelectronic. Gearbox appearance and operation: Both boxes were seen in a maintained condition. They operated without faults during the sea trial. RUNNING GEAR Propeller shafts: 2 1/4” stainless steel that did not hold a magnet. Shaft seals. Water cooled dripless seals that both displayed 890 F when underway and did not show any signs of leaking. Steering: Hydraulic ‘Sea Star’ with wheels at both lower and upper stations. Rudder shaft seals: Packed seals on 2” stainless steel shafts that were seen without any signs of leaking. Tillers and connecting bars: The rudder tillers and connecting bar are stainless steel operated by a bronze hydraulic ram. Ther connections were seen secure, without restrictions or excessive wear and operated without fault. TRIM TABS Manufacturer: ‘Bennett’ Type: Electro hydraulic Operation: The tabs were seen operating correctly during the sea trial. AUXILIARY MACHINERY Generators & Exhausts: No. of sets: (1) Manufacturer: Kohler diesel with a Yanmar (3) cylinder diesel engine. Location: Aft of the engine room on centre line. Model: 9EOZD Serial No: 2120968 KW: 8.5KW/60Hz 120VAC Generator Exhausts: Gas and water mixed in a ‘Sentek Aqualift’ GRP mixer and muffler system installed in the bilge in front of the generator. A 2” rubber reinforced hose takes the water and gas aft. The system was seen without restrictions, deterioration or leaks. Air Conditioning Manufacturer: ‘Marine Air’ Type: Reverse cycle Capacity: A 16,000BTU combined chiller and air-handler located under the forward berth. It was seen in a maintained condition. Operation: From the control panel starboard side aft of the forward berth, the system was operated without fault. With the control set at 680 F a temperature of 540F was displayed on a hand-held meter tested on the cooling discharge vent. The110-volt raw water-cooling pump located in the engine room forward was seen operating without fault. It is supplied from a bronze sea strainer connected from below. ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS AC shore power electrical system Type: 1 x 125 Volt AC 50AMP inlet connection. Source: Supplied via 1 x 50amp shore power cord that connects starboard side aft of the cockpit. Protection: There is 1 x 50amp breaker above the connection that was test operated. Distribution System: Directly to the main switch board (MSB) located above the companionway aft in the main salon that displays voltage supply and amperage load. Power management system panel: The single electric power panel with associated breakers located in the starboard side aft of the main cabin provides both AC and DC current overload protection and monitoring. Operation: On shore power the breakers and supply were seen displayed correctly. The breakers were tested for heat using a hand -held thermometer and did not show any ‘hotspots’ Using generator power the same was seen. All power outlets in the cabin were test operated. DC Systems: Primary voltage: 12-volt DC Battery Banks: (3) banks. Batteries were seen with dates at 8/21 and 6/21 • Service and engines are 12-volt AGM (absorbed glass mat) • Generator is 12-volt AGM The batteries are located in the engine room and sit in plastic side and bottom enclosed battery boxes. They were seen in a maintained condition with secure cables and connections. Battery isolation switches: The switches are installed on the forward engine room bulkhead and can be accessed through the door behind the stairway. They were test operated without fault. Distribution: The supply is connected to a set of fuses starboard side forward in the engine room and on the MSB. Using a hand held thermometer, no ‘hotspots’ were detected on any of the DC system. Battery Charging System: 120-volt AC charger operating from shore or generator power. Make: ‘Promariner’ Model 120-Volt AC 50amp/12-Volt DC charging capability. Engine Charging: 2 x 12-volt 80amp DC alternators charge engine start and house batteries. 1x 12-Volt DC generator driven alternator assists charging the house battery. Battery charge rate from the engine alternators was seen at 14.4 volts with the engines running. Yachts preventative corrosion system: All through hull fittings below the waterline were seen connected to a central connection on the transom. Communications, Navigation & Electronics Equipment listed below was seen operating unless stated. Lower helm station: • Raymarine radar. • Raymarine depth sounder. • Raymarine chart plotter. • Raymarine GPS. • Magnetic compass. • Navigation lights. • Raymarine VHF radio. • Yanmar engine data displays. • Exterior and interior lights. • Raymarine autopilot. • Benett trim tabs. AV & Entertainment JVC stereo and Fusion speakers. OUTFITTING Ground Tackle & Mooring Equipment Ground Tackle: Anchor on a roller and chain on a windlass. Anchor: 1 x 25lb galvanized Fortress. Chain or Warp: 3/8” galvanized chain. Windlass: ‘Lewmar’ 12- Volt DC. Test operated. Cleats & Fairleads: A total of (8) stainless steel double T type cleats. (4) to port and starboard. Handrails: Bow and hand rails are welded aluminum tube with screw fastened round bases that were seen secure and without signs of stress, movement or corrosion. Tuna tower: The tower is constructed of anodized aluminum tube with flat plate mounting bases that were seen without signs of stress, movement or corrosion. Canvas & Covers Isinglass enclosures surrounding the cockpit and helm station were seen in a new condition. Seat cushions and back rests were seen without UV or moisture damage and in usable condition. Interior: Mattress, seat cushions, back rests and curtains were seen in usable condition. Appliances. • ‘Euro Kera’ Princess120-volt AC 2 element stove top test operated. • ‘Nova cool’ 12/120volt DC and AC refrigerator with ice box test operated. • 120-volt AC ‘Tappan’ Micro wave oven test operated.
